We would like to invite you to a webinar focusing on education of school children (aged 6 - 15 years) in the topic of landscape and climate change adaptation, which will take place on June 9, 2022 from 1 pm to 5 pm.The meeting is organized in connection with the launch of the international EduScape project based on the idea that landscape (in the broadest meaning of the word) can serve very well as a tool for teaching topics related to climate change adaptation as well as other societal topics of today's world requiring an interdisciplinary approach. The contents of the online event will be short presentations of organizations and experts dealing in the long term with educating children about landscape and environmental topics. Given the international nature of the project, the presentations will be in English. The presentations will be followed by a round table dedicated to discussion, the goal of which will be to define main starting points on how to support, develop and gradually incorporate this area into school curricula. The round table will be held in Czech. A report will be prepared in English following the discussion and shared with participants.Given the international nature of the project, the communication will be in English only.
